Patricia Morse's Story
Life
I have been so blessed. After obtaining a degree in Nursing, I served in the USAF for 9 years in California and Nevada. I Married while in the AF and had a son.
Upon leaving the Air Force, I became a broadcast Journalist in radio and television. Broadcast journalism prepared me for a stint as a Senior VP of an international marketing firm where I traveled extensively.
After many trials and tribulations I became the first African American woman to hold the position as an International Boxing Judge representing Nevada,...Expand for more
which took me around the world many times over to 32 countries on five continents judging World Championship Boxing Matches which I continue to do along with recently becoming a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) judge as well.
In 1992, I was appointed by the Governor of Nevada as State Commissioner for the Department of Business and Industry's Consumer Affairs and served in that capacity for 15 years until 2007.
In my semi-retired state, I am loving spending time with my grandson and will continue to travel and shop around the world.
